I could ride side-saddle before making this film! We took our riding lessons at Pickwick Riding Stables in Burbank. My younger sister, Janine, wanted to learn to ride, so we’d already been riding. “There’s an old Hollywood joke where they ask you if you can ride and the actor or actress lies and says ‘yes,’ and then heads for some stables to learn how!
